Sorry, there was no week 11 recap: week 12 waiver wire to holiday travels.
Anyway, as always, 6 point passing td ppr rankings. 24 qbs and tes, respectively. 48 rbs and wrs, respectively. I will try to update as news breaks. No byes so these rankings can be loosely considered rest of season rankings, but remember some players will be higher/lower because of match up. Additionally, at least one radio show will be recorded, if not more, to be uploaded on soundcloud, or some type of platform, this week. However, the show may for week 13. The season debut of 'Secret Sleepers' will come with the show. Remember, FF Talk is the originator of 'Secret Sleepers', not what you see on NFL Network. QB

The recap piece and waiver wire are now one, coming out every Tuesday night for now on. Weekly rankings will be out no later than Thursday, if not Wednesday. 'Secret Sleepers' will debut when the show does this. In addition to, and possibly in place of, I will post a Draft Kings lineup each week by Friday, if not Thursday. The lineup will also include other players I like. Anyway, let's get to it!
NYJ-BUF: A surprising Thursday night shoot out we saw Fitzpatrick show us he might be legit for fantasy this year. Forte wasn't ranked high enough pre-season. Marshall and Decker will get theres, but someone to consider in 3 wr or 14 team plus ppr leagues is the third guy on the team Quincy Enunwa who has had at least 9 fantasy points in each game. Tyrod Taylor shocked us all with a great performance, but going up against Arizona this week, don't expect back to back great outings (see Winston week 2) and start whoever you started over Taylor this week again (Matt Ryan). SF-CAR: Johnathon Stewart is out a couple of weeks. Add Fozzy Whitaker then Cameron Artis-Payne, but I must warn that this week against the Vikings both are no more than a flex play, but week 4 against the Falcons and bye weeks, I can see Whitaker being a borderline RB1 that week and if Stewart misses more time the Bucs follow that matchup so Whitaker is definitely worth the pick up for this week even if you don't start him. Not starting anyone on San Fran except Hyde, who has a juicy match up against Dallas this week. BAL-CLE: Mike Wallace is back. Dennis Pitta is back. It's 2012 all over again. Both are most owns esp Pitta because of his position. I'd drop Fleener for him. I'm staying away from all Browns with the rookie QB starting except Crowell who they should lean on because of the rookie signal caller. Dolphins Defense a good streaming option against the Browns this week. TEN-DET: Demarco Murray is legit ladys and gentlemen. Enjoy the ride this year. Ameer Abdullah left the game early. Not sure if he'll miss some time, but Dwayne Washington is worth an add this week just in case. A fair match up this week @ Lambeau field. KC-HOU: Honestly, not much for fantasy here. You're starting Miller, Hopkins and Fuller and for KC you're starting Ware, Maclin, and Kelce. MIA-NE: No Tom Brady, no problem. With a early lead, Blount was able to cash in on a 100 yard game in the second half. Patriots going up against a stout Houston defense on a short week this Thursday, I don't predict another 100 yard performance, but Blount should be a solid RB2 this week. J. White can be dropped in standard leagues, and remain on your bench in ppr. If you can, go and pick up Dion Lewis for the second half of the season. Foster went down so if you did pick Ajayi, it's time to activate him. A prime match up against the Browns, i'ts put up or shut up for Ajayi. Damien Williams should be added this week too, but only for speculation. NO-NYG: A fantasy disappointment. Look for the Saints to bounce back this week against Atlanta on MNF. Rashad Jennings was a little banged up after this one so Vereen should get some flex starts in ppr leagues this week going up against Washington. Orleans Darkwa worth a speculative add. CIN-PIT: Weather conditions ruined this prime match up. I don't know if you can expect much more from A.J. Green this week going up against Denver. Don't get it twisted, you're starting Green. Pittsburgh has the Eagles on the slate next so que up Jesse James and Eli Rogers in at the flex. Thank me later. DAL-WAS: Elliott isn't looking like a first round pick this year. Too early to say bust, but you heard it here first it's a bust. Dez Bryant proved last year's QB play last year would have brought any WR down as he put up his first solid performance with Prescott this year. Beaseley is a nice wr3 or deep ppr league flex. He and Prescott have a nice rapport. For washington, you're starting Reed, and D Jack. Cousins hasn't been stellar, but let's see what he has this week, and if he shows you anything week 4 he has the Browns. M. Jones a flex consideration. TB-ARI: The Winston break out came to a hault. I wouldn't drop him, but I'd pick up another QB for sure (Matt Ryan) with Winston going up against the Rams, Broncos, then a bye in the next three weeks. Doug Martin left this game, but honestly going up against the Rams, I don't like the match up anyway. Add Rodgers if you want. I still expect enough garbage time for Mike Evans to produce. The Cardinals Wr's are figured out--I'm going Fitzgerald, Floyd, Brown for the immediate future. SEA-LA: Just when you thought you could drop Michael, Rawls goes down again. We don't expect Rawls to miss any time, but it was just a friendly reminder to handcuff your RB1. Still waiting for a Gurley break out game, but the past two weeks have been tough match ups. IND-DEN: If Moncrief is out, Dorsett is the no. 1 WR I want this week. Friendly match up against the Chargers this week. For Denver, DT played and produced. Que him up against the Bengals this week along with C.J. Anderson. ATL-OAK: They yelling Matt Ryan back they saying Matt Ryan back. Yes. He. Is. Matt Ryan has a juicy match up on MNF against the Saints this week. I'd start him over Taylor and Winston for sure, but I will caution the next three weeks after aren't so pretty with DEN, SEA, and CAR. But, for this week, I'm plugging and playing him. I'm starting Carr, Murray, and Cooper in Oakland. JAX-SD: So, remember when i said Rivers would struggle after Allen went down? Yeah, I don't either LOL. Both Benjamin and Williams should be owned if they weren't already picked up. Woodhead is now out for season. Top 12 finish is in Gordon's future, if he stays healthy. Kenneth Farrow worth a speculative add. Ivory should be back this week for the Jags so ease off of Yeldon and take a week to wait and see how the workload will be divided. GB-MIN: Probably the biggest fantasy news, Peterson is out. Pick up Mckinnon, but it isn't a great match up this week against Carolina. But, I expect Peterson to be out at least a month so after that Mckinnon gets Houston, then a bye, and Philadelphia. Asiata worth a speculative add. Packers had a tough match up in this game. Expect them to bounce back this week. PHI-CHI: Que up Wentz in 2 QB match ups. It's a favorable one this week against Pittsburgh before a bye. Ryan Matthews is a solid RB2 and Jordan Matthews a solid WR2. Crybaby Jay Cutler will be sidelined for a while with an injury I still do not know about. I'm not touching anyone on Chicago beisdes Alshon Jefferey. Waiver Wire QB: Matt Ryan (The Matt Ryan bounce back season is in full effect. I will caution it does get dark after this week for a three week stretch and I guess that will truly tell if Ryan is all the way back, but for this week he's plug and play going up against the Saints. Starting him over Winston and Taylor.) Ryan Fitzpatrick (For fantasy purposes, Fitzpatrick is back. Not a great match up against KC, but with Forte playing well and two studs in Decker and Marshall, Fitz should be able to produce.) Marcus Mariota (Going up against Oakland. At least 19 points the first two weeks.) Ryan Tannehill (First two weeks haven't been great match ups, but if Tannehill is going to improve this year under Adam Gase, this week will be a tell all. Juicy match up against the Browns. I'd even pick up the Dolphins defense too.) RB: Jay Ajajyi (We thought Ajayi would start the season as the lead back before Foster got signed, but even when that happened, we all knew Foster wasn't staying upright for 16 games. This is Ajayis chance, and it's a nice match up against the Browns. It's now or never.) Jerrick Mckinnon (With Peterson expected to miss extended time, Mckinnon should get the first crack, but this week against CAR isn't favorable. After that, you've got Giants and Texans before a bye.) Fozzy Whitaker (Stewart should miss a week or two so while the Vikings match up this week isn't good. The week after that you've got the Falcons and Bucs so pick him up and stash until then.) Shane Vereen (Has been more involved than expected esp in ppr. Jennings finished the game last week banged up. If Jennings is out, Vereen gets a major uptick.) Dwayne Washintgon (If Abdullah is out, he'll get the first crack. At this time, we just don't know.) Matt Asiata (Will get some work with Peterson out. Worth an add.) Cameron Artis-Payne (Worth an add with Stewart being out a couple weeks.) Damien Williams (In case Ajayi can't get it done, he's next in line. Speculative add.) Orleans Darkwa (Contigent on if Jennings is out. Will get some running downs work.) WR: (Travis Benjamin, Mike Williams then Tyrell Williams if they aren't already owned.) Phillip Dorsett (Word is not out on if Moncrief will be out this week, but if he is Dorsett is top 20.) Quincy Enunwa (At least 9 the past two weeks in ppr. Worth a flex consideration.) Kenny Stills (Scored last week. If Tannehill breaks out this week, Stills should be a beneficiary.) Cole Beaseley (Has a nice rapport with Prescott. PPR flex play.) TE Dennis Pitta (He's back. Pick him up and start him. It's 2012 all over again.) Jesse James (Got his first TD last week. Let's see if he can get his second against the Eagles.) Jordan Cameron (All in on Miami this week. This is prove it time for all the skill position players.) |
