The show has seen some unforeseen circumstances, and at this time has been shelved. Secret Sleepers will be back this week though. Time permitting, I will provide DraftKings sleepers in addition to my lineup as well to compensate for the show.
HOU-NE: One sided affair. We saw the emergence of rookie QB Jacoby Brissett who is also now injured. Legarette Blount emerging as a borderline RB1. Monitor his production once Brady comes back. If you could, trade for Edelman now. He hasn't been bad, the good thing, and can only get better with the return of Brady. For Houston, you're starting Miller, Hopkins, and Fuller if you have to. ARI-BUF: Cardinals offense is hard to gauge three weeks into the season, and that's not what you want to hear with bye weeks starting this week. You're starting Johnson, Fitzgerald, and Floyd, but I'd consider another option if you have Palmer. In fact, I'm confident starting the stout Rams Defense this week. For Buffalo, I'm only starting Mccoy. Tyrod only had a semi good game because of 70 plus yards rushing, don't be fooled. OAK-TEN: Disappointing fantasy performance by the Raiders. Would've liked to see them pour it on here. Walker didn't play so just monitor his status throughout the week. If he doesn't play, Hunter Henry (If Gates doesn't play), Dennis Pitta, and Cameron Brate are nice options. WAS-NY: Great game. Cousins showed us enough this week that if you've got someone struggling or on bye, you can pick him up and play him against Cleveland. With the injuries, and byes, Matt Jones worth the roll of the dice against the Browns this week too. For the Giants, don't expect much this week from them going against the Vikings. Might want to pick up Cousins to start over Eli. But, though you won't start them this week, pick up Orleans Darkwa and Paul Perkins in that order as Jennings is still banged up and Vereen is now out for season. CLE-MIA: Solid game from the Dolphins I told you to start, Tannehill and Stills. Cameron would've faired well too if it wasn't for a concussion that took him out after his first catch. But, this week, going up against the Bengals on Thursday night, I'm not starting anyone outside of Jarvis Landry. Pick Up Jay Ajayi if he's available as I like his workload to increase with Foster still out and him scoring the game winning TD this past week. For the browns, continue to play Crowell. Duke Johnson a nice play in ppr. Pryor is a borderline must start. He's going to get the yards somehow, receiving, rushing, passing, or all three. BAL-JAX: Flacco starting to warm up in fantasy and has a juicy match up going up against the Raiders this week. Might be time to stash Kenneth Dixon because it's been awful what we've seen from Forsett and West so far. For the Jags, I tried to tell you during the preseason, Bortles was going to regress. You're still starting Allen Robinson, but that's it. DET-GB: Marvin Jones is the number one in Detriot from here on out. Stafford is a must start. But, continue to monitor the backfield here. Might be worth it to start Riddick and Washington going against Chicago. For Green Bay, you're starting Nelson, Cobb, Lacy. Rodgers had 4 tds this past week and that can happen on any given week. DEN-CIN: Welcome to the NFL, Trevor Siemian. He, like Rodgers, had 4 tds. If you need a QB this week, it's a decent match up against the Bucs. Off game for Anderson, but you're still starting him. Bengals play on a short week, but if you have A.J. Green, you're starting him. Jeremy Hill, on a Thursday night, is a nice start. Bernard in ppr, but if I had Dalton, I might want to look elsewhere as Thursday night games tend to favor RBs. MIN-CAR: Congratulations if you drafted the Vikings Defense. I'm starting them every week except their bye. Coming off a tough match up, if you picked up Mckinnon last week, start him this week against the Giants. Diggs worth a start here to with the byes in effect. Kyle Rudolph seems to have a special connection with Bradford going, so, he should be owned in all leagues. For the Panthers, chalk it up to a bad match up. Going up against the Falcons this week, you're starting Newton, Benjamin, Olsen, and both RB's (Wittaker and Artis-Payne). Falcons Defense is such that both are worth the roll of the dice esp in ppr. LA-TB: Rams defense is stout. Playing them week in and week out. Wasn't a great yardage day for Gurley, but he scored. The bust alert must wait another week. Winston pleasantly produced in this game and that is a good sign, but he is going up against the Broncos this week, so, don't expect much. I only feel comfortable playing Evans and Brate because of his position and the fact Denver has struggled against the TE in the past. SF-SEA: The Thomas Rawls breakout season is over before it started. Christine Michael will be the bellcow for the immediate future. With that being said, if you can, I would trade for Thomas Rawls because I still believe when he comes back, he will be the leadback. We just don't know when that is right now. Wilson is banged up. I'd look for other options, but him going up against the Jets isn't the worst option. I like Baldwin this week too. For San Fran, I'm staying away. NY-KC: Might be able to squeak one more week out of Spencer Ware. With that being said, I'd be looking to trade him to the Charles owner, or anyone, before his value takes a huge dip. The whole Jets offense struggled and that can be the direct result of Fitzpatrick throwing 6 INTS. Unfortunately, it might not get much better this week against the Seahawks. SD-IND: Rivers looks to be fine without Allen. Starting him with Gordon. And, going up against the Saints, you can go ahead and play Benjamin and Williams. Hunter Henry too if Gates is out again. For the Colts, I'm only rolling with Luck, Hilton, Gore, and Doyle (because of position). All the hype on the Dorsett is out the window at the moment. PHI-PIT: Wentz is legit, but also on bye this week. If Wentz has a good matchup when your starter has a bye, I'd pick him up this week, but other than that, you can't play him. Wendell Smallwood worth a speculative add if Matthews can't go after the bye this week. I don't like the Steelers this week either going up against the Chiefs, and would consider starting the Chiefs defense. Bell will be back so you're starting him along with Antonio Brown, but I might want to look at other options if I have Big Ben. CHI-DAL: Prescott will his first big fantasy game. Elliott too. Dez was okay, but scored. Beaseley and Prescott have a nice connection going and the former almost scored in the first half. Beaseley worth a start, esp in ppr, esp with all the byes this week. On the other side, Hoyer has developed a nice rapport with Zach Miller, so, if he's been dropped in your league, I'd pick him up. You're starting Jefferey, and now with the news of Langford being out, Howard becomes a nice rb2. Fair match up against the Lions. He's my number one waiver wire claim. ATL-NO: A shoot out we called, and a shoot out we got. Brees delivered. Ingram surprised. Fleener even got in the mix. Thomas too with Snead being out, but Cooks disappointed. I'm chalking up Fleener and Thomas's performance to Snead not being there. For Cooks, it was just one of those games. Matt Ryan came to play too, but I must warn the next three weeks are brutal: Car, Den, Sea. I'm looking for other options. You're starting Jones no matter what even though it was a bad game for him too. Rodgers and Coleman are both on a role, and only because of that are you starting them both. They have the hot hands, but I don't like the match up at all. Waiver Wire QB: Joe Flacco (Not a great performance last week, but has traditionally played better at home. Next three games are Oak, Was, NYG. If you need a bye week replacement, this is the guy.) Carson Wentz (If your starter's bye is down the road, pick up Wentz this week on bye. There's a chance Wentz can begin to move into the top 12, rest of season. He poses potential trade value at most, he's your starters bye week replacement at worst.) Trevor Siemian (With Rodgers on bye. Manning with a bad match up. Siemian, coming off a 4 td game, has a fair match up against the Bucs this week. But, week 5 he has the Falcons. If I'm the Drew Brees owner, this is a guy I'm looking at as a bye week replacement.) Dak Prescott (Has increased his fantasy points each week. Rushing td in the last two games. If you need a one week stop gap, Prescott is the guy.) RB: Josh Howard (Jeremy Langford is out the next 4-6 weeks. Fair matchups the next two weeks against Det and Ind, respectively. But, unlike the RB's from last week, we know Howard will be the guy.) Orleans Darkwa (Rashad Jennings still banged up. Vereen out for season. Darkwa scored last week with Vereen also playing. Darkwa's workload looks to ram up this week, but I will warn it is a tough match up against the Vikings. But, after that, a fair matchups against GB and BAL. Paul Perkins (With Vereen out for season, Perkins may get some additional playing time as the passing downs back. Speculative add.) Wendell Smallwood (Speculative add. If Matthews is still banged up coming out of the bye next week, Smallwood's value skyrockets.) Kenneth DIxon (Speculative add. Forsett and West haven't done anything.) Jay Ajayi (If he's still out there, grab him. Will get more work after scoring the game winning TD.) Duke Johnson (With bye weeks amongst us, you can do worst than Duke Johnson as your rb2 esp in ppr.) WR: Cole Beaseley (I've been saying this since last year. When back up QB's come in to start, they usually already have a rapport with a WR, usually the 2 or 3, because of all the practice reps they already have together. As long as Prescott is starting, Beasley is wr3, ppr flex.) Kenny Stills (He's the two behind Landry, Last week showed it. Unfortunately, Stills success, and anyone not named Jarvis Landry, will have a lot to do with how good Tannehill plays. Last week was a good match up against the Browns, but this week against the Bengals on a short week not so much. But, after this week, Dolphins play Titans and Steelers. Add Stills and stash him until then.) Adam Humprhies (Speculative add. Had a 100 yards on 9 catches out of nowhere. Not a great match up this week, but if you believe in the Winston break out season, he's going to need more than Mike Evans to do it, and targets just opened up with the release of ASJ.) Steve Smith (Starting to get healthy. It's his last season. I can see him going out with a bang in the second half of season. Worth a dart throw.) Danny Amendola (Off chance Edelman is starting QB this week, Amendola assumes Edelman's pass catching role. For one week, could be very nice.) TE: (I'm assuming Kyle Rudolph is not available. If he is, he's number one.) Cameron Brate (We saw Brate's potential last week with ASJ gone. I like him this week going up against Denver who has struggled against the TE in the past.) Zach Miller (May have been dropped before the Cutler injury. Has found a rapport with Hoyer.) Jack Doyle (Has outscored Dwayne Allen every week so far.) Hunter Henry (If Gates is out, Henry's going up against the Saints, enough said.) Defense Streamers Chiefs Rams Lions Kicker Streamers Matt Prater Brandon Mcmanus Dustin Hopkins
